US COTTON 

First of all, when you think of the fabric of Momotaro Jeans, you

probably think of Zimbabwe cotton.

However, this fabric is made from USA cotton.

We use USA cotton and weave the fabric on an old Japanese power loom.

Do you know why we used USA cotton?

Yes! It is to recreate the atmosphere of vintage JEANS.

The good thing about Zimbabwe cotton is that it doesn't shed much.

But this time, we tried our best to recreate the fabric of vintage jeans.

That is why we chose to use USA cotton, which fluffs well.

In addition, USA cotton is grown with sustainability in mind, and it fits

well with the philosophy of Momotaro Jeans.

FABRIC

In the early days of vintage jeans production, spinning technology

was not as advanced as it is today, so there were a lot of "neps"

(fibers tangled together) in the yarn. This textured denim is made from

denim fabric that recreates the quality of that time.

LEATHER PATCH

The leather patches are made of cowhide and will age to a beautiful

brown color as you wear them.

The contrast between the FADE of the denim and the aging of the

leather patch is wonderful.
