MOMOTARO JEANS’ lifetime repair warranty offers a service that ensures you wear your jeans for a lifetime.


Details of Repair Warranty

The repair applies to both “free warranties” and “paid warranties.”

Free repair
  • Damaged sewing yarn
  • Damage to buttons or fasteners
  • Damage to rivets
  • Hemming
Paid repair
  • Wear to fabric (such as crotch)
  • Tear to inner pocket fabric
  • Replacement of belt loop, etc.
Not applicable
  • Adjusting width
  • Customization or repair that deviates from original specifications


*Prices vary depending on the area and scale of repair.

*Depending on the degree of damage and the jeans’ condition, we may not accept repairs.


What to Prepare Before Requesting for Repair

1. Have your “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE” ready



The “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE” is included when purchasing your jeans. Please have it ready when requesting a repair. If you forgot or lost the “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE,” we may charge you for any repairs that are usually deemed free of charge if you have the mentioned certificate.


2. Wash the jeans before returning for repairs

Wash the jeans and let them dry completely in a “washed out” condition when returning them to us for repairs. The jeans can be washed only with water. Make sure to straighten out the fabric texture after washing before returning. Unwashed jeans may damage the sewing machine or adversely affect the repairing process. We may not accept repairs if we believe the jeans are not washed after use due to hygienic reasons. We also may not accept repairs if you use strong fragrances or fabric softeners, as they may transfer to equipment or materials used in the factory.



3. Items to bring with your jeans

- Your “CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE”

- Your washed jeans

- A written note describing the damaged area (try to provide as many details as possible)

- Your shipping address and contact details (email address, phone number, etc.)



4. Shipping fee

We only accept repairs from customers within Japan and will not accept any requests and deliveries from overseas. If you wish to request any repairs, please bring them to our retail stores located within Japan. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.



Delivery Schedule after Repair

Please inquire about the delivery schedule when applying for repairs. The delivery schedule may vary depending on our operation status. Please note that we accept repairs on a first-come, first-serve basis regardless of the type of repairs, whether they range from minor repairs including resewing damaged stitches, or major overhauls involving holes and tears.
