This jacket uses high-quality horsehide leather (about 1.2 mm thick) for the sleeves. This leather is indigo dyed using a special technique, and the more the leather is used, the more the indigo color changes, giving it a unique flavor. Indigo dyeing is a complicated technique and is considered to be highly difficult.

The body is made of a luxurious double weave heavy melton fabric. This melton fabric is based on that used for navy P coats and has a thick felt texture. The texture is chunky, but reduced and made more durable by mixing 10% nylon with wool as the main component.

The overall design is simple in order to bring the best of each material to the forefront. The combination of melton and leather, the ribbed design of the sleeves, and the boa inside the pockets are just a few of the details that have been carefully considered.
