Knitted with 14 count/20 gauge straight yarn, it has an even thickness of 8.5oz and is characterized by its good hand feel and comfort. It is a thick, dependable material with a tightly packed texture.

This item is carefully dyed using the traditional technique of Amami Oshima, using the dye from the rhaphiolepis umbellata, "Techi tree" in the dialect of Amami Oshima. The rhaphiolepis umbellata tree is a member of the rose family. Branches spread in a wheel-like pattern and flowers resemble plum blossoms.
T-shirts are dyed with dye made by boiling the core and bark of the trunk of this tree, resulting in deep, austere colors. The soft hues and natural unevenness of the dye are the characteristics of the natural dyes.

Fit
A basic, clean silhouette with a little room in the body width, armholes, and length. The simple design accentuates the texture of the material. Goes well with denim styling.
