It is the Zimbabwe cotton T-shirt. That T-shirt has been renewed with a new fabric.

This is no ordinary T-shirt. Toughness, comfort, and solid quality are the reasons for the popularity of this MOMOTARO shirt.

Thorough explanation of the points of interest!

Comfortable with straight yarns

The biggest difference in the fabric is the change from slub yarns to straight yarns.

Until now, woven yarn for jeans was used for T-shirts. Yarns for jeans are slub yarns that are uneven and bumpy.

This gave the fabric a rough texture.

At the same time, however, it also had the aspects of stiffness because it was not a yarn used for T-shirts, and weak points because of its bumpy texture.

By changing to straight yarns for knitting, the fabric was reborn with softness, uniform strength, and smoothness, making it a beautiful fabric.

Not just heavy, supple & heavy

MOMOTARO T-shirts are heavy and tough. This is because it uses a thicker No. 14 yarn, whereas a typical T-shirt uses No. 20 to No. 30 yarn.

The key point is that MOMOTARO's T-shirts use this thicker No. 14 yarn as a single thread (one thread).

Generally, heavy fabrics are made thicker by knitting with two thin yarns. This method results in a thicker but stiffer fabric that lacks elasticity.

But this MOMOTARO T-shirt uses only one thick thread! This makes it stretchy and quite comfortable to wear.

Image of the fabric

You can feel the heaviness, toughness and comfort from the images.

I think you can also feel the suppleness and luxury from the image of the fabric.
